EGYCRYL Fast

• A sterile synthetic absorbable surgical suture based on copolymer made from 90% glycolic acid and 10% lactic acid (Polyglycolic co-lactide 910)
• Lower molecular weight than regular EGYCRYL for more rapid loss of tensile strength
• Braided multifilament, coated with equal combination of copolymer (glycolic acid 30% and lactic acid 70%) and calcium stearate.
• Inert, non-antigenic, and non-pyrogenic
• Available undyed, milk white (beige) in color
• Its tensile strength complies with the USP requirements for collagenic suture and EP for chorda resorbilis
• Sterilized using Ethylene Oxide (EO)
