Wacocell Standard Absorbable Hemostasis

WACOCELL ® Standard Absorbable Haemostat is an ideal product for predictable haemostasis. WACOCELL ® Standard is constructed as a loose-knit fabric mesh that can easily be trimmed to custom size without fraying or unravelling.This means that WACOCELL ® Standard can be used in almost any surgical procedure to assist in the control of blood loss. WACOCELL ® Standard can also be used in conjunction with electrocautery and will not tear apart when passed through a trocar. WACOCELL ® Standard does not require mixing or reconstitution and it can be placed directly onto a bleeding wound site. It is used dry and does not stick to gloves or instruments. Once haemostasis is achieved, excess WACOCELL ® Standard can be easily removed from the operation site, while any WACOCELL ® remaining in the wound will absorb completely within two weeks of use. The unique homogeneity of the fibres in WACOCELL ® Standard are a result of the optimal regeneration and controlled oxidation processes. This unique fibre homogeneity helps give WACOCELL ® Standard its superior handling characteristics and enables the sheer weave of WACOCELL ® Standard to conform and adhere well to irregular surfaces and crevices.
